Talk about a complete resume! Harry’s first gig was in 1951 on The Jack Benny radio program. The photo below is Harry doing run throughs before the show. Notice Portland native & top voice man, Mel Blanc. He became a mentor to Harry who went on to voice many characters on the Simonson’s. Harry did radio news in Los Angeles, countless acting roles on TV, directed films, acted in major motion pictures, one of the major talents in animation films. Today Harry is 79 and still working but it all started at CBS Radio in Los Angeles ( photo) Mel would be so proud.
