Worked with Don Beckman about 1972-73 at WOMP AM/FM, Bellaire, Ohio/Wheeling, WV. Don was a true inspiration to all of us with his very positive and kind personality. A great air talent and and an even greater person ! Rest in peace, Don.

I listened to Mr. Beckmans midnight show every weekend as a kid back in 1966-68. WLYV had a contest called "name it & claim it". They would play a 2 second part of a record & whoever called first with the right answer won the record. I won a lot of records & got to meet Mr. Beckman quite a few times because of it. A very nice person. I'd like to find out what happened to him after wlyv & where he is now.
