I just wanted to add that being easy to work the console was a good thing because it was easy to get distracted by the bikini clad girls you could see right outside the window at the Holiday Inn swimming pool. We had 30-second end warning lights that was a 100-watt bulb so we'd be able to see it while we were looking outside the window. Ah, yes. The good old fun days.

I loved that console. That's the same one we used at KFXM in San Bernardino when I worked there as a jock. The inset pushbutton started the source that was controlled by the pot directly above it. Easy to work. We had 6 cart machines lined up along the top of the console. Then there were 2 local mics, the newsroom mike, and a remote pot, if I remember correctly.
