Only radio geeks will appreciate this. Photo of the WLS radio tower, now 75 years old. A highlight of my career was to be allowed to boom out from that tower with WLS's incredible 50,000 watt signal. One winter morning before sunrise, I got a call at the studio from a charter flight listening to WLS 30,000 feet over Iceland. Magic times.
